By The Busy Bee Inc Club
The Neurodiversity Summit 2022 is a virtual summit taking place over the 5-week from 28 February to 2 April 2022. The last day of the summit is Autism Awareness Day. It is organised by the Busy Bee Inc Club, a club that was founded on Clubhouse by like minded neurodiverse individuals and is now a Non Profit Community Interest Company in the UK.
Our Mission & Values for the Summit
It will be the first of its kind, an epic cross collaboration taking place across multiple platforms and incorporating the global neurodiverse community. This summit aims to promote unity within the ever-growing online community and further amplify the voices of the neurodiverse community. The summit will be an opportunity for us to share our neurodivergent lived experience with a wider audience. Our mission is to encourage neurodivergent individuals to feel more self-empowered, whilst also shining a light on the stigmatisation we face in different facets of society, to push the needle further forward in relation to the 5 A’s.
The 5A’s
Within education, the health care system, the workplace and all other facets of society we are passionate about our mission to foster the 5 A’s for our global neurodivergent community. Awareness, Acceptance, Advocacy, Action and Appreciation. They will be the key themes that the summit will be centered around. In keeping with our mission, The Neurodiversity Summit 2022 has a zero-tolerance policy in regard to its participants engaging in discrimination of any form. We request that participants always remain respectful to the identities and values of others that may differ from their own.
The Puzzle Piece Symbol
In addition, we feel it is very important to make explicitly clear that we do not align with the values associated with the puzzle piece symbol. We therefore must request that all participants refrain from using or presenting the puzzle piece symbol on any of their social media platforms which they will be using to engage with the summit. The link here provides a brief explanation of why the puzzle piece does not align with our ethos.
How & Where?
The summit will be an amalgamation of multiple seminars which differ from your everyday rooms on Clubhouse. Our aim is to create a mega platform for us all and ensure the neurodiverse experience can no longer continue to be ignored by the mainstream. Although most of us have connected via the Clubhouse app we want The Neurodiversity Summit 2022 to be so much bigger than just Clubhouse. Therefore, all the seminars taking place will also be recorded via Zoom as well as being streamed live via Facebook. Follow our Facebook page for updates and live streaming here

About Busy Bees Inc Club Cic
We recently registered as a Nonprofit Community Interest Company in the UK.
We are passionate about exposing the predominantly neurotypical society to the realities of our neurodiverse world to evoke social change and undo decades worth of stigmatisation. Yet, at the same time, we are so much more dedicated to supporting neurodivergent individuals worldwide in their journey to self-empowerment and aiding them in the improvement of their quality of life. The club was founded by Kareena Kai, who’s late diagnosis of autism, ADHD, and dyslexia turned her into the immensely passionate neurodiversity and mental health advocate that she is today. About Kareena Kai, Founder of the Busy Bee Inc Club
The host of challenging life experiences overcome by our founder Kareena Kai is what led to the genesis of The Busy Bees Inc Club CIC. Navigating through the challenges associated with attending medical school whilst also living with chronic physical illness took an extensive toll on her mental health. Kareena’s late diagnosis of autism, ADHD, and dyslexia turned her into the immensely passionate neurodiversity and mental health advocate that she is today. It was through her own healing journey that Kareena realized our collective need for extensive inner healing and just how crucial it is for us as neurodiverse individuals to be intentional and actively engage in the practice of self-love.
