A QEEG (Quantitative Electroencephalogram) is a diagnostic tool that measures electrical activity in the form of brain wave patterns. It is sometimes referred to as \u201cbrain mapping.\u201d Brain waves are the rhythmic electrical impulses generated when the millions and millions of neurons inside your head communicate with each other. Brain waves can reveal important information about your overall brain function, including stress levels, thought patterns, and emotions (<\/em>Amen Clinics<\/em><\/a>, 2022).<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Neurofeedback is a form of biofeedback that takes electrical impulses from the brain and creates a unique therapeutic protocol, based on the data received, to improve brain function. Neurofeedback can be used for many conditions, including: \u2013 ADHD \u2013 Depression \u2013 Anxiety \u2013 Headaches and Migraines \u2013 Chronic Pain \u2013 Autism \u2013 Sleep Disorders \u2013 Dementia \u2013 TBI \/ Concussion Neurofeedback can also help improve physical and cognitive performance. Infraslow fluctuation (ISF) neurofeedback training is a\u00a0<\/em>type of neurofeedback<\/em><\/span><\/a>\u00a0that focuses on observing the lowest frequencies in the brain. \u00a0The earliest research on these ultra-slow waves suggests ISF works by regulating autonomic nervous system function, the flight, fight or freeze response. More importantly, ISF regulates the activation of brain areas linked in chronic autonomic stress by helping the brain communicate between the autonomic and emotional networks. Wilson Tok <\/a>practices QEEG and ISF Neurofeedback to quantify and accurately re-train the brain waves (neuroplasticity) to optimal levels. He has worked with clients with autism, ADHD, ADD, cerebral palsy, stroke, traumatic brain injury, extreme tremors, multiple system atrophy, migraine, depression, anxiety and recently covid brain.
